Alessandra Rinaldo, MD, FACS, FRSM
Dr. Rinaldo graduated in medicine at the University of Padua where she also served her residency in Otolaryngology through the mentorship of Alfio Ferlito.
She has authored 290 publications in peer-reviewed journals and 20 book chapters. She has collaborated with many international experts and published in 17 medical impacted journals. She is Associate Editor with Doctor Richard V. Smith of the third edition of a two-volume book entitled The Larynx (by Fried MP, Ferlito A, eds. Plural Publishing, San Diego, 2009). She is Co-Editor of the book entitled Neck Dissection. Management of Regional Disease in Head and Neck Cancer (by Ferlito A, Robbins KT, Silver CE, eds. Plural Publishing, San Diego, 2010).

Dr. Rinaldo has received the International Union Against Cancer (UICC) International Cancer Technology Transfer Fellowship Award (three times) and the Laryngeal Cancer Association Recher Award. She has presented several communications in international meetings and has delivered lectures as an invited speaker in many countries. She is interested in the management of patients with head and neck cancer in general, and larynx cancer in particular. Her professional life is devoted to clinical practice, teaching and scientific research.
