Kathryn M. Yorkston, PhD, BC-ANCDS, is a professor of rehabilitation medicine and head of the speech pathology division within the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Washington Medical Center. She is the coauthor of two textbooks: Management of Speech and Swallowing Disorders in Degenerative Diseases and Management of Motor Speech Disorders in Children and Adults. She is currently the chair of the writing committee for practice guidelines in dysarthria for the Academy of Neurologic Communication Disorders and Sciences.
