Nicole Müller, DPhil
Dr. Müller is Associate Professor in Communicative Disorders, University of Louisiana at Lafayette, holding the title of Hawthorne-LEQSP Endowed Professor. Dr Müller has published widely in both book and journal form in various areas of language disorders, as well the syntax and semantics of natural language. Particular areas of interest include clinical discourse studies and pragmatics, specifically as applied to Alzheimers disease, communication disorders and multilingualism, and professional voice use in university professors. Her most recent book is Pragmatics in Speech and Language Pathology (Benjamins, 2000), and her book on discourse in Alzheimers disease (co-authored with Dr Guendouzi) is due for publication in 2005 by Erlbaum.
